Welcome to New York
1. A book with LGBT themes
This was actually the first book I read where the main character is openly gay. And I absolutely loved it! I’m not a huge fan of contemporary but I am definitely in love with this one. Plus the cover is absolutely beautiful.
Blank Space
2. A book that you hated but loved the cover.
This was totally a cover buy for me. It looked amazing and cute and the stars have that foil thing so they sparkle. But after reading it I was just so let down by the story.
Style
3. A timeless classic you love.
Honestly I love everything about Pride & Prejudice and look at that cover! My favorite movie adaptation of it is with Keira Knightley and Matthew Macfadyen.
Out of the Woods
4. A book which had vivid world building.
This book was amazing! I mean it just blew my mind and to think I was hesitant to read it when my friend handed this to me. I just loved the world and the characters.
All You Had to do Was Stay
5. A book you were eagerly anticipating but ended up being disappointed by
Honestly I love anything Rapunzel and so I was super excited when I found this book, but reading it was just disappointing. I wanted so badly to love it and I just didn’t.
Shake it Off
6. A book/series that everyone seems to love but you can’t help but hate
I actually read this entire series and while the first one wasn’t bad, I didn’t love it like everyone else seemed to. I really really wanted to but I just couldn’t bring myself to. Although I do have to say that I enjoy the movies, maybe it was just being inside Katniss’s head that I didn’t like.
I Wish You Would
7. A book series you know you will always love
I mean it’s harry potter! I absolutely love this series. I grew up with this series and I was also fortunate to have a mom who raised us on books and used to take us to book signings and I because of that I was able to meet J.K. Rowling.
8. An upcoming release you wish you could have right now
Honestly I am freaking out over this series ending. I want so badly for it to end in a good way but I see Maggie being horrible about the ending. But I still need it in my hands!
Bad Blood
9. A character you once loved but grew to hate
I love zombies and I was growing to love Alice in Wonderland, so this book was right up my alley, but it was such a let down. I didn’t like Alice and I didn’t like her relationship with Cole.
How You Get The Girl
10. One of you favorite books where they ‘got the girl’
Of course Sarah Dessen had to be on this list at some point! I absolutely love this book, it’s my favorite book and I just love the story between Remy and Dexter.
This Love
11. A book that completely shocked you
This one shocked me so completely, in the best way possible. This synopsis was one that seems to be done over and over again so I wasn’t excited to read it even though my sister said it was good, but reading this just blew me away. It was a different take and one that kept me turning the pages.

12. When the wait between books made you forget everything that happened
Seriously guys the wait for the last book was like 2 1/2 years! I mean it is crazy so needless to say I don’t really remember what happened in these books. Although I remember the first one more than the second. Also I am really excited to read this series!
13. A book/series you wiped from your memory
I absolutely loath this series and how it ended. So much so that I want to erase it from my memory forever. I also really really dislike Shailene Woodley so that doesn’t endear this series to me.
Pride and Prejudice is a book I keep meaning to read, but then I never seem to get to it. Love that cover for it, it’s beautiful.
I’ve heard such good things about Daughter of Smoke and Bone and recently purchased the whole series, so I definitely need to hurry up and start it.
I was curious about Alice in Zombieland but ended up not reading it, I just wasn’t sure if I’d really enjoy it.
I came to HATE the Divergent series. It just got worse with each new book and the last book was so bad!!!

I have to say Pride and prejudice was really hard for me to get through! It am not used to the writing style, so it’s hard for me to read. Daughter of Smoke and Bone is so so so good! I absolutely loved the series! I’m really glad because I didn’t buy any of the zombieland series and waste money on books I ended up hating! I had high hopes especially since its fighting zombies but it was just more drama than anything!
Ugh the last book seriously was the worst! I hated how it ended and just thought it could have been better!
